      Businesses that import, export, or tranship food and food products regulated by SFA must fulfil these general requirements:

      What are the specific requirements for exporting/transhipping food and food products?

      The specific requirements for exporting or transhipping depend on the classification of your food and food products. If they are regulated by SFA, you must comply with SFA’s requirements as well as the requirements imposed by the importing country/region.

      For example, to export meat, you will need a licence from SFA. Additionally, the importing country/region may also require you to have an export certificate for each consignment.
