To import, export, or tranship food and food products, you need a licence or registration from SFA. You will also need a Cargo Clearance Permit (CCP) for every consignment.

For example, meat products are regulated by SFA. To import, you must have a Licence for Import/Export/Transhipment of Meat and Fish Products from SFA. In addition, you must obtain a CCP approved by SFA for every consignment.
